Kohl's new charge account...
My new Kohl's account...
So I opened a new account with Kohl's in October. Never heard from them until they called and said I owed them $40 for my purchase that day. However, I never got my card or the bill for $40. When they went into the records they discovered: 1. They had two points of information wrong in a two line address and 2. as a result all the mail they've sent to me has been returned to them.
Now they need to change everything in their computers and they want me to supply my social number and birthday to them over the phone. This is something I do not do having been hit four times in the last 5 years with fraud bullshit. They tell me they won't "change" my records with out my giving this info over the phone but I tell them they are "changing" nothing...the reality of it is they are "correcting" their data entry errors. We have been kicking this around for three weeks now.
Believe me once I get this straightened out I will be closing the Kohl's account. I don't think they are a company I wish to be dealing with if they can't even handle a $40 purchase!!!
