poor quality of clothing

I've been buying clothing from kohl's for years and every time the quality goes down, however the price goes up. I follow the washing instructions the clothes shrink and lose their shape. Almost everything I have purchased is lay flat to dry. Who has time for that. Just once I would like to purchase an item I could dry.
