Very Rude Customer Service - Non-helpful - customer service


I ordered Christmas gifts off of Kohls.com because many were online exclusives, meaning stores do not have them. I ordered by the cut off date of "guaranteed for Christmas delivery" and guess what? I received tracking today and my items will arrive 12/29. I called in to Kohls.com a few days ago after placing my order, the assured me that the order would be here in time. I called in again today after seeing the tracking information, they informed me they would be here in time. I had to ask them to CALL UPS or take the time to look it up, because it would in fact NOT be here in time. After 20 minutes, they confirmed, it would NOT be here and there was nothing they could do. Two supervisors later, a very rude man who would not disclose his name, said "come on now, is it THAT important that they get here in time? They are what, like mugs?". Not only was that unbelievably rude that he is offering criticism on my choice of a Christmas gift, but it wasn't any of his business. Obviously if I ordered them, I wanted them! He then said, "I'll be honest, they got delayed and didn't ship out in time"...I said, what are you going to do to fix it then? And his answer was - well it's not OUR problem. Needless to say, I spent an hour of my morning on the phone with these ridiculously rude customer service agents and people that claimed to be supervisors and while there were solutions on hand, they refused to help me. Now you know someone knows they are being rude when they will not disclose their name to you! If these are the voices for Kohls.com - I wouldn't be surprised if they go out of business tomorrow! No customer deserves to be treated like that. I have been a loyal customer to Kohls on line and in store for many years now, I saw these NFL mugs at one other location and chose not to order through them, because Kohls GUARANTEED me the items would be here in time. Boy, do I wish I wouldn't have ordered them. Never again.
