I usually go to Kohls for juniors clothes since I am of petite build and I like the deals I can get on clothes. They have awesome deals, but now I know why.
The quality of the clothes in the junior section is poor. These clothes are not very well made and don't last nearly as long as they should. I bought knit sweaters in the fall and only wore them ONCE before finding strings in the weave coming out. I bought a nice long sleeved sweater dress and the very first day I wore it, it ended up with a hole in it because the knitting of it just came apart. I didn't snag it on anything, and I got a correctly fitting size, so I didn't stretch it.
Also, I have bought jeans from the junior section and they barely hold up. I could try on a pair of jeans in the store and have them fit perfectly, but a few weeks later, they've stretched out so that they are too big and so I have to wear a belt wih them. Not only that, but my friend and I bought the same pair of Jean capris last summer, and both of them ripped. One ripped in the leg, and the other ripped in the crotch. When you compare the quality of jeans that Kohls sells to say JCPenney, Kohls looks absolutely awful.
The deals are good, and there are some cute clothes; however, be aware that the prices are a window to the quality as well, as far as the junior section goes.
I did buy two Jean skorts from the women's section of Kohls last summer, and they seem to be holding up very well. I do not know about the rest of the department, but the juniors clothing department needs to step it up on quality.
