I had a pair of pull-on pants for a few months. Each time I washed them, I used the delicate cycle in a brand new washing machine, cold water, line dry. Then one day, all at once, the stitching around the entire waistband unraveled. I brought the pants back to the store - no receipt, but obviously it's their merchandise - and the employee offered me nothing. "Did you already wear them?" she asked after I explained the whole story to her. Of course I wore them. She said there is nothing she could do. Now, IMO, any good manager caring about PR, would have at least given a partial refund, since I would bet that they could send the defective merchandise back to the manufacturer. I threw the pants away while at the store, and will not return to this Kohl's location again.
